UCR Registration for New Motor Carriers

UCR stands for Unified Carrier Registration. If you operate a commercial vehicle in interstate commerce, you are required to register and pay your UCR fee every year. It is one of the first compliance requirements new carriers miss — and one of the easiest for FMCSA to catch.

We register you in the UCR system and confirm your filing. Same day.

What Is UCR?

The Unified Carrier Registration program requires all motor carriers, freight brokers, and leasing companies operating in interstate commerce to register annually and pay a fee based on fleet size. The fee is set by the UCR Agreement and varies by the number of vehicles in your fleet.

For most new owner-operators with one truck, the annual fee is under $100. Not registering is not worth the risk.

What Happens If You Skip UCR?

Operating without a current UCR registration is a violation. Roadside inspectors check UCR status. A failed UCR check at a weigh station results in fines and can contribute to your CSA score. States also conduct UCR enforcement sweeps independently of federal inspections.

What We Do

We register your carrier profile in the UCR system for the current registration year and confirm your filing is active. You receive confirmation once complete.

Turnaround: same day.
